Hoop Love Yall Show
Hoop Love Ya’ll Show~Help
Hoop Love Ya’ll Show
Health, Humor and Hooping with Che’ Rippinger of Hip The Hoopla
In This “Help” Show Episode/Topics:
Help–You CAN do it all yourself, or you can take a big time/effort/expense shortcut and seek help~Expert, Network & Intuitive. Plus some helpful hooping recovery techniques that can help with learning many more moves. And a little Laughter Yoga to help reduce stress and increase your happiness.
~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*~*
3 Kinds of Help:
♦ 1. Expert – Someone who has spent years of studuing or has a lot more experience that you do can b-line your learning time by a lot. TIP: make sure they are reputable~just because someone is a “professional,” does not mean that they are good at what they do (it just means they take in money for it).
Example: I do a complimentary Hoop Consultation, which can save you a great deal of time and money, since I’ve already spent a lot of both of those learning what I could give you the “Cliff Notes” for!
♦ 2. Network ~ Your family, friends and colleagues can be an excellent resource for things you may need help in, anything from getting a new product to more major life dilemmas.
Example: When my mom had cancer and finally did ask for help, her family, friends and employees all stepped up in amazing ways with all kinds of recommendations, time and effort to make her journey a little easier and a lot less lonely and scary.
♦ 3. Intuitive ~ Tap into the internal messages that the combo of your brain and heart are telling you…AKA your “Gut Reaction.” If you don’t know, pick one and see how it sits with you. You’ll find if you really tune in, you will know. Also pay attention to signs and symbols–these may be your angels networking to get you some intuitive “hits.”
Example: Angel “hits” when deciding what to do…tap in and listen, because they are conspiring for you, if you let them.
♦♦♦3 Very Helpful Recovery Hooping Tips and Techniques:
Besides learning and practice, these three recovery techniques will be the successful foundation for most all further hoop dance growth and experience, especially for on-body hooping. (All demonstrated and taught on the video)
♦ 1. Speed Up
♦ 2. Duck In
♦ 3. Turn WITH the hoop rotation
Additional Inspiration/Quotations:
♦ “I get by with a little help from my friends” ~ John Lennon
♦ “Never let your ego get in the way of asking for help when in desperate need. We have all been helped at a point in our lives.” ~ Edmond Mbiaka
♦ My T-shirt motivation for the day: Sparkly heart (tap into your heart) with wings (listen to your angels!)
♦ “Do you want to learn this the easy way, or the long way?! Your choice.”~Che’ Rippinger, Chief Hooping Officer at Hip The Hoopla

Hoop Love Ya’ll Show-Recovery
Hoop Love Ya’ll Show~Health, Humor and Hooping
with Che’ Rippinger of Hip The Hoopla
“Recovery” Theme or “Normal is a moving target.”
In This Show Episode/Topics: Recovery–respecting the downtime needed to heal from a melanoma/cancer excision/surgery, a few of the other many natural curative modalities I’m using including: T-Relief, Colloidal Oatmeal, Raw Cannabis Juice and endorphin pain-relieving comedy/humor. Plus “recovery” tricks and techniques for when you drop your hoop (or the ball, in life!).
Health Information/Update:
♦ A Humorous update on my medical process. Actually revealing my “Franken-Arm” on camera ( a 3+ inch incision area with 16 oh-so-pretty black stitches).
A few of my recovery/healing modalities include:
♦ T-Relief Homeopathic drops for pain relief and faster healing (also surprisingly helpful for menses when you cannot take Ibuprofen)
♦ Raw Cannabis Juice shots-Live demo of what this is like and why it works (and it’s NOT psycho-active in the “THC-a” aka “Raw” state) We have an endocannabinoid system system? Yes! A little touch on how that works.
♦ Colloidal Oatmeal-how to use it in a bath or make your own moisturizing cream to help with dry, itchy, allergic skin like latex bandage reactions, psoriasis and eczema.
Hooping Tricks, Tips and Techniques:
♦ Recovery is not just a trick, it’s an attitude! How you deal with it will bring in “Like energy” on how others react…So, “Make it look like ya meant to do that!”
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Test Kitchen Winning RECIPE:
♦ Colloidal Oatmeal Itch-relieving Moisturizer — all natural and you can make it at home so easily!
Melt together on low heat in a double boiler:
♦ Shea Butter (approximately 1 cup)
♦ Coconut Oil (a few tablespoons-go for organic and cold pressed, if you can)
♦ Colloidal Oatmeal (Fine ground organic raw whole oatmeal–you can use a clean coffee grinder) Add as much as you like, to keep a liquid-like consistency–I used about a cup or so and also added some hot water to make a little thinner and flowy.
At end, stir in 1/4 cup raw honey, and if you like, several lavender oil drops, and Frankincense oil drops–great for skin and cancer healing)
~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
Today’s T-shirt inspiration/Quotations:
♦ “Angel Camp” ~ T-shirt shout out to my amazing angels Hubby Bill and Nurse Jen
♦ “Normal is a moving target” ~Wiseman & Husband, William Owen
♦ “Make it look like ya meant to do that!” ~Che’ Rippinger
♦ “Attitude is Everything.”~Che’ Rippinger, Chief Hooping Officer at Hip The Hoopl

Hoop Love Ya’ll Show-Expansion
Hoop Love Ya’ll Show ~ Expansion Theme
Health, Humor and Hooping Tips and Tricks with Che’ Rippinger
In This Show Episode: Expansion (from limitation)–my constricted dietary journey with new health lessons & yum to try sugar substitutes, “Limiting” hooping – expansion moves from floor positions-including nose hooping!
~ Hoop Love, Ya’ll!~Che’ Rippinger of Hip The Hoopla
Enjoy & tune in weekly~Thank You!
Expansion (from Limitation) Topics in This Episode:
•Health Tips – Laughter Yoga Breathing exercises:
Laughter Yoga Breathing Exercises-Fountain Laughter and New “Nose & Belly Breathing” technique.
• Health Information – My personal health challenge journey with Candida and doing a sugar cleanse and elimination “diet”–
Expanding my knowledge of body, gut and food, including new things to try with a limited list of “You can eat this, you cannot eat that.”
•Hooping Tricks, Tips and Techniques: Expansion from Limitation hooping
Try floor hooping and exploring the variety of hoop moves from the ground
Wall plane, wheel plane, isolations and variations, breaks and paddles, folds, twisties, head hooping, and even NOSE hooping! (3rd try is a charm!)
Local: “Expansion from Limitation” Hoop Workshop Tuesday, 3/113/18 6:30pm at Namaste Studio, 701 Garrison Street, Lakewood, Colorado 80215, USA (and online class offerings, too!).
…Plus some sweet kitty Capri and puppy cameos to get you smiling/laughing!
•Yum To Try/Helpful and Healthful recommendations*:
1. Zevia Zero Calorie Soda-
A light tasting very yummy NO-sugar, no-caffeine, comes in many flavors, NATURAL alternative. A nice sweet treat instead of the mainstream immune system hindering sodas and pops containing high sugar/corn syrup/toxic aspartame/chemical sweetener .
2. Organic Lemon Juice (bottled) and organic lemons
You can grate the lemon zest for a lovely lemon aroma and flavor to many dishes from veggies, main course, to desserts and sugar free, high alkaline drink (water is still #1 in healthy)!
3. Coconut Amino Acids
Super yum and a great sweet & salty alternative to soy sauce and soy amino acids–tastes like Teriyaki sauce!
*Of Course: check with your doctor before trying any of these for yourself. Everyone and body is different, and reacts differently depending on when you take things, in what quatities and in combination with other things–so do be careful and do your own research. These are helpful for *me* and are things I’ve learned through having a health food store with my mom, and learning a lot along the way from other sources as well.
YUM TO TRY Recipes!
♥ Sautéd Veggies with Coconut Amino Acids:
• Pour 1-2 Tablespoons of Avocado or Olive oil in a stove top pan over medium heat.
•Add your favorite cut up veggies of your choice to pan (like sliced up brussels sprout, onion, in order of density and cooking time needed–add minced, crushed or fine sliced garlic last and greens that can wilt in like kale which is pretty hearty, then spinach which is more tender).
• Add tumeric with ground pepper to taste for great health benefits and maximum benefit/absorption.
• For extra flavor sprinkle some fresh (bottled works well, too–go for the organic) lemon zest and/or lemon juice.
♥ “Gourmet” Popcorn :
• 2 Tablespoons Organic Coconut oil in a lid handy large pan/pot.
• Add 1/4-1/2 cup of popcorn and Cover with a lid and cook over high heat until popping diminishes (and before it starts to smoke/burn!)
(I’m going to try popping Sorghum kernels as a corn alternative–but you have to constantly keep that moving so it doesn’t burn!)
• Add some great spices afterwards! Try a Mexican blend with chili powder (start with a little, you can always add more!), paprika (especially smoked!) and onion salt, or cinnamon and stevia, or a kettle sweet and salty taste treat spraying a fine mist of coconut amino acids over and shuffling the mix until lightly coated (but not soaked!)

1.Bragg’s Amino Acids (super yum and a great alternative to soy sauce)
2. Black Lava Sea Salt (delish!)
3. An easy cinnamon clove tea
4. A tasty healthy homemade chia seed lemonade.
…Plus a few high hoop jump-throughs by visiting big pup Brown!
♥ Cinnamon Clove Tea Recipe:
1 stick cinnamon
10-15 whole cloves
Steep in boiling water.
For extra sugar/candida detox and system balance add the juice of a fresh real lemon.
♥ Chia Seed Lemonade Recipe:
1 teaspoon chia seeds (add more if you like a thicker drink)
Juice of one lemon (or to your flavor preference
Steep chia seeds in 1/2 cup boiling water to plump them up. Add cold water (a good 8 oz. or so) and then add the lemon juice.
For extra sweetness add a few drops of stevia. Do not use sugar or chemical substitutes like the pink or blue packets. Sugar FEEDS candida and helps promote and overgrowth and a whole host of domino-effect problems. This is helpful for a candida detox and system balance, so do try to use the juice of a fresh real lemon.

Hoop Love Yall Show ~ Relaxing Theme
Hoop Love Ya’ll Show ~ Relaxing Theme
Health, Humor and Hooping Tips and Tricks with Che’ Rippinger
In This Show Episode: Relaxing is our theme with suggestions on using Lavender, Kava, 5HTP, Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc combo~ to help with sleep, de-stressing, relaxing, anxiety, insomnia and overall happy health.
~ Hoop Love, Ya’ll!~Che’ Rippinger of Hip The Hoopla
Enjoy & tune in weekly~Thank You!
Health & Humor-
• Laughter Yoga Breathing Exercise
• Health Tips – Tapping–“release and peace” short tapping introduction and tapping example session, Recommending Nick Ortner for great Tapping books, videos, etc.
…Plus Several very silly Pet Cameos that includes kitty Capri, Shiva, Caly and visiting big pup Brown!
Helpful and Healthful To Try / Health Recommendations*-
• Lavender–several helpful tips and tricks I use and how you can incorporate them for your daily life (including de-stressing a trip to the dentist), Dr. Bronner’s Lavender Organic Hand Sanitizer and trying lavender in a tincture or tea.
• Kava–great for relaxation, sleep and de-stressing. Demonstration on how I use the tincture. My experience with trying out the new local Mad Hatters Kava Bar with fun flow and hoop friends. (https://www.facebook.com/madhattersmilehigh)
• 5HTP–My all natural “happy pill(s)” which actually can help you sleep. (all of these do not have a “sleep hangover” or drowsiness upon waking component like other medications can).
• Calcium/Magnesium/Zinc–Great for helping with sleep and reducing the lactic acid buildup that creates sore muscles.
Hooping Tips and Tricks/Hoop Hacks-
• Wonderful World of Wedgies and Escalators–several helpful tips and tricks I use and have learned (advice from Nick Guzzardo, Valentina of Twisted Orbit and Emma Kenna) and how you can incorporate them for your daily life (and go on to create or learn new variations with these as a base.)
I like using the grip escalator when releasing my hoop isn’t a safe option. Be careful when working on wedgies repeatedly as they can bruise your inner thighs, and that’s painful and no fun!
