Having a hard time hooping? DON'T use a kid's (or toy) hoop! Here's why, and where you can get a pro hoop, that'll work way better for you... Come let your inner child play with an adult sized hula hoop at Hip The Hoopla classes! Http://HipTheHoopla.com

Question: Can I use a kid’s Hoop?

Answer: If you are having a hard time hooping, DON’T use your kid’s hoop! Why not?? Those are small, usually cheaply made hoops, that will break easily, and are usually too lightweight for most adults to use successfully.

Professional Hoop Advice:
If the only hoop you have is a kid’s size, or toy store hoop, you will have much better success if you use it for Off-Body moves like on your hands and arms (NOT “On-Body” or waist hooping).
Warning: you may spend a lot of time chasing that small hoop around when it drops. Plus, smaller hoops fly much faster and farther… because they are smaller and lighter.
